Zátiší Group has been known for over 30 years primarily for its fine dining excellence. But the company is now expanding its image with fresh new concepts. From the POP UP in Karlín, it’s just a short walk across the Štvanice footbridge to a new brilliant project taking place in Holešovice, led by Jan Šmelhaus, COO of Zátiší Group.

Jateční Bursa reinvented

The central building of the Holešovice Market is the former livestock exchange. This is where cattle were once driven down Argentinská street and traded. This beautiful space from 1895 is currently undergoing a major renovation and by the middle of next year, Bursa with a capital B will see the light of day. Historical elements will be paired with modern touches, and the entire space will be lit by neon lights, just like in the First Republic era. Bursa will combine a central bar, kitchen with an open-fire, an in-house bakery, and a spacious outdoor garden all together in one.

Fire and beer

The main element is fire. It's what will give the food its distinctive flair. Meat is returning to Bursa, which will be aged on-site and cooked over an open flame, down to the very last bone. Think of that unique taste and aroma that only open fire can bring to meat. That's exactly what will fill the entire space, all the way to the outdoor garden. Vegetables will meet the flame as well, elevating imaginative vegetarian dishes that even many meat lovers will want to try. Add to that perfectly maintained tank beer, creative cocktails, and fresh bread from our in-house bakery. Are you getting excited?

Meeting place

Bursa aims to bring people together, whether it’s over great food and drinks or by connecting three Prague districts: Holešovice, Karlín, and Libeň. It will be the place you’ll want to visit for a fantastic breakfast, fresh crispy bread, a perfectly chilled pint, or a smoke-scented piece of meat, this is going to be Bursa, basically a modern kind of pub.
