Fruits are great for making homemade popsicles – for example, you can even use whole bananas:

Fruit popsicles with curd and cottage cheese

250 g curd
150 g cottage cheese
2 bananas
250 g frozen fruit
1 tbsp honey

Instructions

2 Blend the frozen fruit together with the bananas, cottage cheese and curd until smooth.

3 Pour the mixture into popsicle containers and let it freeze.

4 Enjoy!

TIP: If you have any leftover popsicle mix, add a little milk to it and blend it, and then you have a smoothie for the kids to enjoy as a snack.

Banana popsicles with chocolate

Ingredients for 4 popsicles:
2 bananas
90 g of 70% chocolate
nuts or freeze-dried fruit for decoration

Instructions

1 Peel the fresh bananas, cut them in half and place them on the sticks.

2 Melt the chocolate in a water bath and dip the bananas in it. You may also use a spoon for it.

3 Place the popsicles on a tray with baking paper, sprinkle with crushed nuts or dried fruit and leave them to freeze in the freezer.

4 Banana popsicles will last for up to a month in the freezer.

You may also prepare a curd ice cream. Its advantage is that it's more filling and may serve as a perfect summer snack.
